Susan: Andy, thank-you very much for agreeing to sit down with me today to talk about some of your research around inferential evidence and how probability is measured and operates within inferential evidentiary systems.

Andy: I want to start, not with the classical juridical idea of evidence and how evidence is presented, but with the nature of evidence that is made to appear within probabilistic systems that spreads into a number of different kinds of areas that take us beyond that of the simple juridical.
